Recently caught @ Wilmer Trout Ponds, 313706 Hwy # 6, Durham, Ontario.

Wilmer Trout Ponds ( www.ontario-fishing-ponds.com) is hoping for some cool nights, to drop the temperature of the waters. The trout have not been very active for the last couple of weeks. Still have lots of bug activity on the surface of the water, making the food supply abundant. Being as we do not pellet feed the fish, we are dependent on the natural food sources in the ponds, and as of now , there still is lots of bug activity. If fishing for trout or large-mouth bass at the moment, it is a bit of a challenge even for the best of anglers. If you want a challenge, then now is the time to come and visit us.

Have you tried Wilmer Trout Ponds, north of Durham, on Hwy.#6? 519-369-5717. Their fish are NOT pellet fed. Good for eating, and the prices are reasonable. -
Had our first customer of the 2013 season at Wilmer Pond in Durham, Ontario. Came out with 2 rainbow totalling 3lbs 3oz. The ice has just been off of the ponds for one week, so the fish wintered very well.
