Wow!! Wow!! and Wow!!!!! Amazing, Narrative, pictures and videos Simply the 'best' Your big Laker video with Bren's comments "Is it bigger than mine?" and "I don't think its bigger than mine!" Bring back some great memories for me with my boys, No Go Pro back then but those memories never fade!! LOL Brendan's big Laker video, "priceless" The long distance released Pike at the end of the trip even more priceless With the fact you could of netted him at any time You and Bren are enjoying this huge fish then he gets off. For a second Bren is obviously disappointed Then, with huge confidence, he fires of another cast as if to say "I will get another" Epic for sure Cheers Rick PS Say hi to Joe for me That is a 'beauty Laker' he has there also -
Hey Joe My recommendation would be Mystic Isle in Wawa Spent a night there early June, Great spot, all Fisherguys, either going in, coming out or fishing locally. Had a few adult beverages and shared a few fish tales with some great guys Have a fun Trip Rick

Yes Mike 'anticipation' Big time After I had to cancel out of a trip in Sept due to hip surgery and four months later I had knee surgery To say I was pumped is an understatement!!! Joey Lots of quality fish It was 'fun' Julian That is a Canadian thing!! LOL But I think I am dating myself with an aluminum Easton Chris Not sure where Yet As much as I have enjoyed Apisabigo There are too many other great spots, I am in search mode right now. Sylvan That one was not caught in the back bay but my buddy got his 27 incher in there!!

I don't have many pics as my camera died but I will add what I have and when I get the pics from my fishing partners I will add a couple My buddy has a great pic of a moose. We fished Apisabigo in 2014 and had a great trip, caught lots of Walleye with the biggest at 29" Last year we went in May 29 and with the late ice out the water was very cold. So this year we booked June 6 and it was about perfect!!!! This year AirDale is using Watson's Skyways out of Wawa for their flying. An extremely efficient company and a pleasure to fly with, We were scheduled for a 9am flight we arrived at the airbase at 8, I said to the dock lad we are a little early. He replied back your truck in here and we will get your gear weighed. We were weighed, loaded on plane and in the air at 9:20 On our return flight we were to be picked up at 10 am the Otter touched down at 10:02 I must add we had perfect weather for our flight days, Sunny and light winds Watsons Otter The fishing was amazing we caught more small fish this year, as many 14 - 17 inchers as you could possibly want, but also got into some big ones. My 28 1/2 incher was the biggest My buddy Pat got a 27" which I do not have a picture of Also a bunch from 22-25 inches A double header Shore Lunch As for Pike Well there was an unlimited number of mid 20 inch fish, Just cast or troll the shoreline and you will be busy unhooking Pike. My fishing partner did get a thick 37 incher that was our biggest. One tactic that was lethal on the smaller Walleye was on days with blue bird skies and glass smooth water when the points and shoals that produced so well in the evening were slow We moved deeper into 32FOw and vertical jigged with a worm, It was like ice fishing for Perch there were loads of fish and you could barely get the jig to the bottom without having a bite. And a huge big thank you to Martin and Jenn of OutPostCamps.com It was a pleasure to vacation with you once again Cheers Rick

Yes Steve I thought of that and that is for sure an option, It would just be a 25"M, Which as you say works fine
-
Sinker That just might work!! Thanks

Bunk All the eyes I have found are just too big. On MudHole the smallest is 1.6mm Which is 1/16" If all else fails I think I will get the 1.6mm and use some epoxy to fill the void. Brian PM returned Bondar Thanks for tip but unfortunately it is broken flush.
-
I broke the tip off a favorite and am looking for a replacement. I have the old eye but the tube part is very small. I was thinking I could drill it out but the smallest drill I have is 1/16 which is not even close. I am having a problem finding a replacement eye with the mounting tube as small as the UL rod. Anyone know where I can purchase a replacement? Thanks Rick

Chris Huge congrats to you and your wife A keeper for sure!!! Some fun times ahead

Spot Lock on the Terrova is the "Best" Works as advertised. Just make sure your forward motion has stopped before hitting the "Spot Lock" With the boat moving forward the Terrova turns backwards in search of the "Spot" and will get you going in a zig zag pattern Terry You will love it for deep water jigging. No more dealing with 150 feet of anchor rode!!! Makes moving a whole lot easier Terrova is very easy to deploy and stow, Also with the I Pilot on the Terrova you can use either the remote keyfob or the foot pedal

The Perching on Simcoe is for sure "On Hold' at this time. What area of the Lake are you looking at? For Cook's Bay out of Gilford. Terry Goy would be the operator I would recommend. Beaverton area Tim Hale's

Hi Chris A weed line for sure! the shiner on a jig is a great search tool. If they are pulling the minnow off just use the head. Something shiny like a Slab Grabber or small Williams is good for attracting them You can drop shot a Slab Grabber and on your drop shot hook put a Shiner or a Pan Slammer. Also the Northland jigs and Buckshot jigs The cold coming first of the week will tighten those lakes back up. Have Fun and play Safe Cheers
