  12. Hey Joey Exactly! In the right conditions its doable. If your travel from Parking to Lake and Shore to the Spot and you do not do a lot of moving it will work. However, For a walker who likes to be mobile,in most conditions, a smaller Clam, the Pro or Scout or a pop up works the best. Rick

    ATV's

Hi Julian It really depends on where the Lakes are you want to IceFish. Simcoe is one thing and Temagami another. Back Lakes or near well used access points? Simcoe is unique as it has many many travel conditions. Glare Ice, 2-6" new snow on Glare Ice, Drifts, Deep Snow,Slush,Cracks,Shore Conditions, travel to Lake from Parking, etc etc. Ideally you need a Sled and a ATV. However for one or the other for me its the ATV. I can get out in most conditions, in some conditions its much better than the Sled. I can plow my driveway and I can use it in the summer. As for chains for deep snow. When I first got the Bike I thought I needed chains. However I quickly learned, for going thru deep snow, I did not like them. All they did was dig ya down deeper! I changed them out, and put on some fairly aggressive Mud tires, not the huge lugs! This works the best in deep snow and you can still put the chains on for the glare ice conditions. What Bike are ya looking at? Rick
  14. Jeremy "IF" You get it to the Lake How are Ya gonna get it out there? Rick

  18. I have an older Clam Yukon. This Hut is going into 6 years and I Fish it a lot!! It is a bit on the heavy side so unless you are pulling on glare ice and/or short distance you will need a sled or Bike(ATV) Other than the Runner/Sliders This hut has been bullet proof!! Good seats. Lots of room for 2 and all my "Stuff" I started with the Clam runners but they did not last 1 year, I then went to downhill skis and they made it thru 2 years I now have some HUMV plastic and I have 2 years and will likely get 3 on this set up Rick
  19. Hey Doug I hope they got your'Good' side!! Rick
