  4. Bass were shallow on the St. Lawrence around Ganonoque. Water also 60-62.

  17. I know the feeling it can be intimidating. The first few trips out I have taken experienced boaters with me and it really helped. Its also good if you can get out on their boat. There are also some good Youtube videos about launching boats. Make sure you have your safety gear with you in case you get in trouble or get stopped.

  19. I tagged along with a group of guys fishing Lake Ontario between Port D and the US border. 2 guys in 1 boat, 3 in another. We were on the water by around 530. It was tough seeing the fish on Richards little screen. Richard got this Brown on the Dipsey , I also lost a small rainbow on the dipsey. We each got a decent sized Laker on the down rigger rods. The guys in the other boat caught a couple of small kings. We caught the fish on brightly coloured spoons. The first laker was caught on a spoon that looked like the bottom spin dr. I'd never seen that seat base style rod holder before. It was a good learning experience, thanks to Richard and Shawn for letting me tag along.

  24. Just wondering how many fishing boards people are on other than OFC. I'm mostly on OFC but I also use Spoonpullers, myccr and Algonquin Adventures.
