  1. Well I have been to many, many concerts and shows.Used to watch Max Webster,April Wine,Rush in the bars around Niagara in the seventies. Rush played at my high school graduation---NO crap --Rush at my high school graduation--YEAH!! One of the best shows I have been to was Bruce Springsteen at Sheas in Buffalo (seating-2600 people) The Boss played for 4 and a half hours!! 1976!!

  2. Hey Mike--- just got back from a ten day trip to our camp up north and getting caught up on what has gone on in the real world. Great to see you had another successful and enjoyable trip with Air Dale.Martin certainly takes care of his clients with great service and excellent camps.Brendan is really having a summer to remember with you!! I think that you really enjoy introducing newbies like Dave and his sons to the world of (Fly- In Adventures). When you see genuine excitement people have on a trip like this you realize all the planning and prep work done behind the scenes is really worth it!. Once again Mr. Borger you have given us a great read and provided the Maciulis boys with lifetime memories--Well Done Sir!!

  3. Hey Mike awesome report man! That place is certainly on my bucket list. You certainly stuck to your " Modis Operendi" of search and destroy LOL! No new body of water is safe! Also really appreciate the time and effort you take to make these reports so informative, enjoyable and proffesional. With such a busy schedule, full time job and family it is amazing that you continue to bring us all "along" on these trips. Always look forward to the next one, well done bud!

  4. An idea of where (lake name or general area) would generate more detailed info for you for sure.Example would be East end of Lake Erie worm harnesses are great whereas central Lake Erie copper backed Michigan Stingers and Knockout lures work well, good luck!

  5. Last I heard was 2 days ago before the wind picked up. A pretty good location east of the weather marker off Port Colborne, don`t have many other details because I was heading to Burwell. With the big wind they might really be scattered again. Good luck if you go!

  6. Headed out early this morning to rig a north shore port.Lake was still rolling abit but the wind switch had it levelling out.The fish had definitely moved ,very few marks or surface activity.Worked 25-90 FOW with meat, spinnies /flies and lymans.Only 2 hits, both short and never got a hook into a fish.By the looks of the graph there were a few fish glued to the bottom in a small area in about45 FOW,that was the only spot I could find anything worth working and had both knockoffs there. The full moon always makes morning salmon fishing tough and coupled with the warm water and bright sky I didn`t grind it out past ten am.Oh well that happens when tou fish stagers, sometimes its here today, gone tomorrow. This area is a smaller out of the way spot and it has happened before. Many larger areas with lots of fish to check rest of the week, weather permitting.I will probably fish afternoons, into the evening until this full moon starts to diminish.Good luck out there.

  7. I rig alone often,I have a 17 lund tiller with an 80 yamaha. There is a lever on the motor that allows me to loosen or tighten the steering, when alone I set lines going with any wave action with the steering fairly tight.Once set I do loosen it a bit , not too much because if a rod goes off you need some boat control.Once you do it a few times you become a lot more comfortable going solo.I always make sure I have my PFD on and kill switch attached, good luck!

  8. Took the boat and rigged the evening bite off one of the rivermouths on the north shore.Lake was a bit bumpy but it was a nice evening on the water.Had 6 good hits landed 4 chinook .Fish were scattered and best depth was around 50 feet of water. These fish are staging and out of temperature so they are really spread out in the water column.Riggers and dipsies both took fish until dark.Hung around for a couple of hours after dark and casted closer to shore,my partner and I landed 1 more each.Every port or river mouth from Burlington piers to Port Hope have salmon staging, every night some move in tighter, the warmer weather coming will hold them off a little longer.

  9. I generally cover water with the good old beetle spin (safety-pin lure) for shallower areas, deeper holes get a some drifts with a1/8 oz jig. I usually use darker, natural colors.Once you get the hang of working the jig deeper without getting hung up you`ll start to get better sized fish-good luck!

  10. Fished the Grand way below Camebridge(It`s a big river!) lots of action with the smallies. Most are small (half to two pounds) but alot of fun on light tackle.Got a couple of bruisers that fought very well. The water is low, there are lots of weeds just use fast moving baits and cast everywhere.I covered alot of water-got dropped off and picked up downstream. Also caught 1 walleye about 3 pounds.
