Also if anyone is planning on going down early and wants to get out on other parts of Nipissing or into back lakes, just PM me and we can meet in Sturg and I can take peeps out pike/walleye not a musky guy but Im a quick learner :whistling: .... I have a 1900 Lund PROV so can fit up to 5 peeps FYI.

  2. What kind of stuff are you looking for? I just bought some trolling spoons and flys from SpoonMaster. Their prices were good and fast shipping. Anything else and you might want to try Cabela's. If you find any more, I would'nt mind checking them out as well.

Looking for a couple different types of Blue Fox Vibrax... mailny the Double header and the Musky Bucks.. I see the classic ones on Lebarons site but no other ones....Double Header

  3. Just curious where people like to order from for various types of tackle, I need to order a couple specific things but was trying to avoid the states(Cabelas/Basspro/Ebay) and BassPro store is quite the drive for me.

Anyone frequent any online sellers with fair prices and decent ship time within Canada/Ontario.

  4. Not sure how many people check the Hook - Up section but if anyone is able to get out on Nipissing next week check the Hook- up section and PM me,

    Thanks

  6. Not sure if anyone will have any suggestions but thought I would try... I put my new boat in the water on the weekend, well new to me its a 2003. The issue I ran into was once the boat was in the water the elec trim for my T8 yamaha kicker wouldnt work. It worked in the driveway when tested but has since stopped. I was able to get it up manually but havent been able to get it to work since. Battery is fine and all fuses fine so just wondering if anyone has even ran into anything like this and if so and thoughts on what it could be.

I am new to the boat ownership thing and unfortunately dont know a whole lot about these things. So any thoughts are appreciated. I figure I will have to bring it in but thought if there were any thongs I could try it would be worth it.... I just dont know what it could be as it worked fine until the weekend then just stopped......

    Thanks in advance,

  8. Thats the exact setup I wantto get!!

    Great rig man!

Was it much of a hassle getting across the border? I hear the trailer is more complicated then the boat to bring over.

To be honest it was riduculous how easy it was... I feel stupid for looking into it as much as I did. We crossed at Fort Erie and the girl we had wanted to go on her lunch so she rushed through it. She didnt even ask for the TITLES!! or the BIIL OF SALE for the boat. She needed the bill of sale for the trailer to fill out the form 1 but that was it. I could have said I paid 5,000 for the boat they didnt even look at the boat or search it lol. It depends who you get but all you need for sure is the bill of sale for boat and trailer seperatly and also the titles for both as well signed over to you. In and out in 10 min. You pay PST and GST on boat right there at the border and only GST on the trailer, you pay the PST on trailer when you register in in Canada. If you ever have any questions let me know I have er down to a science now lol.

  9. So I went and picked up my boat in the US and now have it in my drive way. 2003 Lund 1900 ProV SE IFS. 200 Yammy with an 8 hp yammy kicker. Very easy to do and would do it again. Special thanks to Icefisherman,Krisco, eyefish and gerritt for all the questions they helped me out with and to everyone else who helped out in different posts.

I will try and put some pics on if I can get it to work.....

  10. I know I have asked a few questions about this topic and thought I had it all down pat with the websites I have been on but recently I was told that I need the titles (ownerships) for the boat and trailer in my name prior to getting to the border? I thought this was true for a new boat but does this apply for a used boat. I thought the selelr jsut signed them over to me and I brought those with the bill of sale into Ont and then got it changed over to my name. To anyone that has bought a used boat in the US which is the correct way. I am heading down next week to pick it up so hoping to get this cleared up. I will call CBSA but just though I would ask someone who has actually been through it.

Sorry for all the bugging on this topic but I always get the best info here. Thanks again guys
