Poor lady that is being sidelined? I do not know what that means. I DO know that the lady who convinced me to buy...when i was adamantly refusing to even listen...was an employee of DODGE. They did not bring in an insurance rep. A Dodge employee sold it to me. A Dodge employee profited when i bought it. And that same Dodge employee, who now manages the dealership, would not even refund to me the portion they themselves kept. They KNEW i was being screwed. At a minimum they should have apologized and offered me back the portion that they themselves profited. I would have walked away thinking "what an upstanding operation". Sadly they did not offer me anything...which is incredibly short sighted on their part. They had a chance to keep a customer happy. Not only did they lose me, i tell others of my terrible experience. They could have broken even...give me back the portion they kept. Instead they have chosen to take a loss...my future business with them and all the people I talk to. It still boggles my mind that they did not at least try to make things right

Always respect lakes you are unfamiliar with (NF)

When I lived in Barrie I would fish that lake once or twice a year. There were many times the big motor never got fired up! Just used the trolling motor. The days I did use the gas motor I had a very specific trolling route on my gps that always kept me safe. Luckily the fish on that route were pretty accomodating so I didn't have to stray off it. -
very nice congrats on the new to you ride! No more kicking your way out like a chump! Trolling motor is great addition!

Make them show you the clause that says you have to provide service records. I went LINE BY LINE through all the documentation with one of their managers...eventually they caved. Took craploads of emails and phonecalls before I got a manager. Have your warranty book in hand as well. Mine said nothing about service records. They have some bogus line about "what is not covered" section... it also says nothing about service records. Good luck. There IS a clause that gets them off the hook if you have gone over 100k so definitely don't send in records if you are over 100k! If you are under 100 k and have all the records just send em in. My problem was we didn't keep the records, and when I sent some in they always insisted on more

Too funny. Went salmon fishing with a buddy and when I caught a laker instead that's what he called it...a dirty old laker. You have some awesome pictures there and memories for a lifetime, too bad the weather didn't cooperate but still looks like a fantastic time -
awesome day Rob...love the passed out kids an the ride home
-
beauty fish. I had a very soggy baseball tourney today. Did hit a creek this evening with the kids but ours only has chubs and shiners...not as glamorous as your trout

Well it took a while but had a few days off work this past week and finally got the boat in the water. Had to take a bit of a test run before a Friday/Saturday morning musky adventure, so took a quick run down to Lake Ontario to see if the boat would work. Since it did...trolled around for a few hours. I don't do a lot of salmon fishing, but do have some dipseys, couple of spoons and a flasher/fly rig. Managed 3 small salmon in a few hours, and then caught what my friend referred to as "a big stinky laker". Considering my first laker was caught thru the ice a few months ago, and weighed maybe a pound, this was quite a different fish. Caught it on the flasher fly at around 120 feet down over 170 (this is the king kong of dipseys...not the usual one). Once in the boat I understood why he called it "stinky". Lakers have a smell all of their own! With the boat running well, went up to Kawarthas for Friday and then Saturday morning...hoping to land some fish that are known for their stink (not to mention teeth and slime). Tried 2 lakes I had never fished before, so it was a bit of a guessing game where to start etc. Day one we managed 5 muskies and day 2 landed another 3. Nothing huge, biggest were 43 and 42 inches. Almost all the musky we caught still looked pretty beat up from the spawn. Took a few hours on each lake before we found em, but once we did the fish cooperated! Pretty satisfying going to a new body of water, struggling to find the pattern, but then getting rewarded eventually. Water in Kawarthas was 66 in am then 68 by early afternoon...this was the same on both lakes. Here are a coupla pics:
