  1. I cant believe someone gets to fish 10 hours a day 7 days in a row! I won't get in 70 hours the entire summer!
  2. very sexy boat!
  3. ya I am shocked its in the 50s already. But the sooner it gets to 60 the sooner those muskies want to eat again so bring on some warm temps! The water out there only takes a couple days to clear so not too worried about that. Plus that dark water heats everything up a bit faster!
  4. i would go 9.9. My buddy uses one on his 16 foot princecraft (full windshield) and it works well for him. Sometimes he even has to use the bowmount to keep the boat straight if there is some wind. I personally wouldnt go less than 8 hp after watching his in action. Mind you his is a fairly heavy boat with riggers etc
  5. I am sorry to hear how many of us they have attempted to screw over. I lost my mind on the dealership and xwrp and finally got some justice after a huge fight, but it should never have been this way. This is the stuff that gives the industry a bad name, and for some reason they don't even care. All about money I guess...taking yours...whether honestly or like this. The people who present and sell this stuff should be ashamed
  6. haha fortunately I don't have any of those tips lying around the house. I suppose you just want to give it a thorough cleaning before using it for its original purpose again
  7. patience rewarded! Good for you. Not sure how you go 11 for 8 though...couple double headers I guess?
  8. I guess you attach that tip to your pump? Would be difficult to squeeze bottle it in from the lower hole. Or maybe if you use this set up you pour the oil in from the top? (although I was told should do it from bottom to get all air out)
  9. I found out the hard way one year that some of these different outboards have a different threading...bit of a pain but at least when you find the one that fits you have it for years to come
  10. right on! It was a great boat for me I am glad it has continued that way for you. Luckily my new boat has also been a champ, so I am not having seller's remorse...I needed something bigger for Lake St C and I got it...we both win!
  11. congrats you will love it
  12. wow those fish are insane
  13. ya maybe haul my boat out of retirement one of these days as well
  14. I suppose if you catch bait all day long that is handy
  15. awesome...some day I will do the same...unless my wife reads this first and does it for my birthday!
  16. ...saw him today...he thinks there might be Tuna in the lake...you can do what you want with that intel
  17. congrats on the purchase! Got zero fishing info for you though, never been up that way. A guy at work has a place on Miller, but he wouldn't know a fish it it bit him in the behind...so I won't even bother asking
  18. wow that is awesome. Makes me think its time to get the boat out of hibernation
  19. I have bought a couple of those cheapee hibachis, Work great for a shorelunch...except for last year when I went to St Clair and the charcoal was garbage and we didn't have much of it. Luckily I had a couple of pre-cooked steaks that just needed re-heating so we didn't starve...ate em cold. That was one of those days that everything that could go wrong did...skunked, broke a rod, buddy put a hook through his hand...and bbq wouldn't heat up. It was one for the ages. They say some day you will look back and laugh about days like that...well I ain't laughing yet.
  20. wow that' s a lot of trout
  21. very exciting!
  22. I am with Harbour too...plus a year or two after I bought a friend bought a boat and I convinced him to go with Harbour. He got his renewal this year...same thing (huge increase)...he bolted. Forget who we called to get quotes, but literally just googled a few and all of them came up with rates liked we USED to pay with Harbour (approx 375 per year). Harbour went from 375 to 675...thats nearly a 100 percent increase! I have not gotten my renewal yet, but they try to jack it on me I am gone as well. From the sounds of it I should expect my rates to be inflated too
  23. those are a couple of beauties! I give you credit...8 hours in I would be halfway back to Guelph if a flag hadn't tripped
  24. that didnt work out too badly. Because my driveway has a slope I am very conscious of where and how I unhook from the tow vehicle. Guess he has a flat driveway!
