Ive been using Big Jons for about 14 years now and they halve held up really well. I also have Cannon on the boat. Cannon has a couple of features I like over Big Jons, they have a boom that you exstend out from the boat. This is nice for storeing them away when not being used. Also they have an automatic stop as the cannon ball reaches the surface. This is great when your clearing line playing a fish. Both of these have given me good service over the years. I apoligize for not getting back to you Irishfield. I posted and about an hour later buddy called had trouble with his van so we had to fix it as we weere leaving early on monday. Thanks for your reply. We did stop and get bait there. She had lots, good size shiners. thank again.

Would anybody happen to know the name of the bait shop in Sunridge, its located on highway 11 just past the stop light. We are going to lake nippising in the morning and shiner minnows are hard to get up there do to the bait ban. Were not transporting any from our area. Thanks for any info.

The Crystal Beach dock is open the only thing is they have taken the docks out but its still possible to lanch small boats there. If you have a large boat, there is a ramp just down river from the peace brigde. Its next to Nichols marine and there is parking there. Hopes this help. Good fishing.
