You shouldn't, when you log into your Navionics account on the Navionics site and click the GPS Cards tab, it should show your card and you'll see the special price for renewing! -

Hey mamona, just heard back from them. Use the Chart Installer after you've logged into your Navionics account and as long as you purchase the 12 month subscription before the end of Feb. your 12 months will begin when your current subscription expires. Hope that this helps! -

Hey mamona, I've asked the question regarding if you had a card about to expire and find out if you get another year from when your subscription ends but haven't received an answer yet! I know that you can renew an expired card or one up to 90 days from expiration. Will update you as soon as I have an answer! -

Unfortunately not, you still need to have the card registered on your Navionics account or have the Micro SD portion of it! I'll PM you and see if I can help! -

Did you register the card on the Navionics site when you initially got the card? If you did then your Navionics account should have a record of it and show it as expired. If so I do believe that you can click on that card and order a new card at 50% off which is US$49.99 Let me know how you make out! -
If any members on this board own a Navionics Chip that subscription has expired, you can order a new card or renew your subscription for 50% off until the end of Feb.! Your new card or subscription will now have the best of both the Navionics & Garmin data! The best deal that I've seen ever. #NavionicsRenewal #NavionicsAmbassador Here is the link for full details: https://www.navionics.com/usa/update-your-chart?utm_source=mailchimp&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2019_feb_card_subscription_sale&utm_content=cta_link

Left or right retrieve and left or right handed person
David Chong replied to Canuck's topic in General Discussion
It felt weird when I switched as well @bigbuck but I stuck with it and am glad I did! Now it feels weird when I try a right-hand retrieve reel! LOL -
A newer bass boat brand, aluminum.

Vexus is located in Flippin AR same as Ranger but is definitely not a Ranger product although many employees there are former Ranger employees! -

Love what they've done with Vexus! The president is Keith Daffron who in Forrest Wood's grandson, Forrest is the founder of Ranger boats! Can't wait until they introduce their glass line! -
Beautiful Walleye!

Left or right retrieve and left or right handed person
David Chong replied to Canuck's topic in General Discussion
Very impressed that over 74% of respondents are using what I believe is the most logical combination. I originally started using a right-handed baitcaster reel but eventually realized that it really didn't make sense to cast with my right arm and then switch hands. I prefer to have my rod in my power arm and more coordinated arm. -
All good Art! Next best thing to fishing is talking fishing! Got 1 more each day down here at the Toronto Boat Show!

Now that the new Navionics chips are incorporating the best of both Navionics & Garmin, if anyone is thinking about getting a new chip, note that you can trade in your old chip for $$$! Whether it is a C-MAP, Fishing Hot Spots, LakeMaster, Lowrance Insight, Magellan or TrakMaps chip, you can get a $50-$75 US rebate when you buy a new card! Here is the link if you want more details: https://www.navionics.com/usa/lp/rebate?utm_source=mailchimp&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=tradein_2019-sponsors&utm_content=cta #Rebate #NavionicsAmbassador #BestOfBothWorlds

Stoco Lake Ice Fishing Crappie Tournament

Sounds like it would be fun, but I'm down at the Toronto Boat Show all weekend! Good luck out there! -
Personally, have not used any bad braid! Are some better than others, sure but generally not a night & day difference. The best value out there as far as I'm concerned is either the Daiwa J Braid or Yo-Zuri braid, both "Made in Japan" products. Great tip from BassMan11 about the mono backing and if you're spooling it up on a spinning reel do not spool up with all braid and attached it with an arbor knot!
-
Well, Chris J the used boat market has also gone crazy because of the new boat prices! You’re in a good position unless of course you have to buy another boat! LOL

Anyone who is interested in attending the Toronto Boat Show have two more days to take advantages of the "After 5" Deals! Today & tomorrow(Friday) if you attend after 5 PM the admission is only $5 for an adult and the parking is free! About as affordable as it comes these days! LOL Drop by and say hi at the Yamaha/Skeeter booth and say hi if you make it down! We can talk a little fishing, Skeeter Boats, Garmin Panoptix, Navionics or why the costs of boats have gone crazy thanks to our friendly politicians! LOL

On some slow days, I have targeted them! They are very tough to hook on regular lures but are catchable! Many people who target them specifically use a rope lure so that the gar's teeth get caught in the rope. Otherwise, jerkbaits and crankbaits work well.

A major issue currently especially for us in Canada is that the US has applied tariffs on Alunimum & such coming from Canada and then our Fed government in response has added a 10% tariff on boats coming into Canada! So we get it from both sides!

I heard that there was a technical issue with the video! I got stuck at a meeting at the Boat Show and couldn't sign. Hopefully, it will be up on the Navionics YouTube channel shortly with full video!
