  2. I love this wind site. It is so accurate. https://www.windy.com/?44.355,-79.689,5 I had 3 hours to get a fish in and wasted no time. Lots of bait on the bottom. I love this. For one thing,it brings big fish around, also, when you see the bait lift off the bottom or start to go away from the screen, that big fish is around. First fish was on so fast. The bait was like gone in seconds and the first white just smashed the new meegs elite. About an hour later, bait starts to rise off the bottom. Wait for it,wait, there you are. Sticks around, goes up and smashes the high hook mayfly larvae. I just tied this one this morning . Reports of bellies full of these going around. Not sure how it still worked as the herring were putting a beating on it. Right on time,9:15 the winds started, snow started. Off I got a happy feller. Lots of ice Before and after,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Burp

  3. problem with snowmobiles is they are so friggin inefficient because they dont really roll well. Id rather push my truck down the road than a skidoo. Man, could you imagine how friggin snappy that throttle would be though? Holy cow.

  4. Yes, no mention of increases in the densification of existing lithium batteries and new electrical storage solutions already in the pipeline... That being said I don't think ICE vehicles will completely dissappear for a very long time...there are certain applications where they make sense..but the ability to tow a large trailer long distances is a very small segment of the market. However, when I read an opinion piece, I often "follow the money"... Financial Post is owned by Post Media....which is 66% owned by Chatham Asset Management...which is a US holding corporation heavily invested in the oil industry... just sayin'

  7. Yes, I remember it well. Andy was a great guy and I hooked up with him to help with setting up some temperature regulators at the atlantic salmon hatchery they had on the Rouge River. I also met with Adopt-A-Walleye guy there and helped set up the walleye hatcheries and donated an outboard for the boat at the Caledon gravel pits.

  8. Well I'm still searching As noted above from Lew, it was AndyK, I'm still searching the archives for pictures of him here at my home for a New Years Eve party. In the mean time here he is at Lakair (on the right) with my buddy Jef (Team Empty Pockets).

  9. His name was Andy Kartashov (sp) Dan and he was a great guy. Him and I became good friends and fished together quite a bit and then after a few years he gave up his website (muskiestriker) and just sorta drifted off into the sunset.
