  1. I tied these up, not many. Wanted to get some feed back if they would sell. I would charge 2 for $5. They are weighted. Lead wraps and bead.

  2. Cold front coming in, fishing is going to be slower, warm front coming in, the bite seems to improve. The amount of varation in the cold/warm seems to be in direct correlation to the change in the bite.

  3. Hit Tim Hales with Cliff yesterday. Have not fished in a rental hut since the 80's. They have not changed much since then. Warm and comfortable huts lotsa pinhead minnows and no walking and dragging all my own gear out. Action was pretty steady for perch although yesterday the smaller ones visited more frequently than the bigger ones. Came home with 2 feeds for Debbe and I. Cliff did a little better than I did. However my favourite take away from the day was just hooking up with an old fishing buddy who I have not had face time with for far too long. Thx Cliff it was a great day.

  6. amazing! And some of the math here makes me laugh. No lying, I have literally seen stores advertising $3 each or 3 for $10...I told them I will take 3 but want to pay for each separately

  7. It was a wonderful day fishing and you are right Steve, it's been way too long! It was really nice to have a chance to catch up and reminisce about some of our previous outings, we sure have created some fond memories. The new blades for my electric filleting knife got a great work out, these ones are a little longer than the originals which I really liked. As discussed, we will be doing it again before the ice out. Oh, and I still think those ones that got off had to be at least 3 lbs😉

  8. don't know if your still on hunt for a vehicle but I bought a 14ft tiller with 25hp last march and used my parent minivan to tow it and had no issues. it's a 2011 toyota sienna v6. it is FWD so that's a bit of a draw back if I'm at a steeper launch trying to pull my boat up but otherwise no problems, on the highway its actually pretty good, the van itself weighs about 4500lbs and my boat plus the trailer is probably another 1250lbs and she still averages right around 10L/100km highway. The sienna is rated to 3500lbs and if you found an AWD model I have no doubt it will be absolutely fine, might knock the mileage a tad if you get AWD but shouldn't be too much. I really like the minivan cuz I can have all my rods laid out inside and not bouncing around the bed of a truck. In my opinion a minivan is probably one of the best vehicles for towing a boat (under 3500lbs) so long you don't plan on taking your boat to real backcountry, hard to access lakes. Plus as a bonus if you buy a toyota minivan and keep up with basic maintenance it'll live for an annoyingly long time.

  9. Yeah, mine looks like a Jeep still. The Jeep dealer here is next to the Kia Dealer, with the new models it is hard to tell where the Jeeps end and the Kia's begin. Think the Renegade was designed by the same team as the Kia Soul
