  1. Thanks for chiming in. I marked a bunch of bait off the deep hole by that rock, made quite a few passes but only pike and walleye. We tried for Sturgeon on a couple of nights but didn't seem to have any decent spots close to the cabin. Todd tried a double rig with cut sucker meat thinking it would keep the walleye's off .... no dice lol.

  2. Finally got back to Clearwater Florida for a couple of weeks after missing last year due to the Pandemic. We stay at a cottage near Indian Rocks beach and always get some fishing in. Outside the usual Whiting, Jackfish and Catfish off the surf I was able to get out on the boat for some nearshore for some Snook and Bull Redfish hunting. While the Bulls weren't having any of what I would throw, the Snook were on fire! Landed two including my personal best 42inches and got cut off by about 5 more as they dove and broke me off before I could bring them up. Awesome time and cant get to go back in May for some Tarpon!

  4. I ran 4 ga from my batteries to the motor. I shortened the wires coming off the motor as short as I could, and use one of these connectors. I haven't had an issue. It works slick. https://www.grainger.ca/en/product/p/WWG3BY23?gclid=CjwKCAjw_L6LBhBbEiwA4c46up-ttYeNJQdzGu34l0LYzU3iKZsK9wqIbb95UbTfPrDKeFqKeyDR8RoCSLAQAvD_BwE&cm_mmc=PPC:+Google+PLA&ef_id=CjwKCAjw_L6LBhBbEiwA4c46up-ttYeNJQdzGu34l0LYzU3iKZsK9wqIbb95UbTfPrDKeFqKeyDR8RoCSLAQAvD_BwE:G:s&s_kwcid=AL!3645!3!483556496832!!!g!545678050530! 8. Wasn't bad but also wasn't cheap lol, 475USD plus tip for a morning for a single. I think thats about the going rate for singles or doubles. Fun day all around

  9. Hey Guys I have brought in some of the Sea Foam engine treatment. I will let it go for $7.99 for OFC members. No need to wait for it to go on sale. Its not a regular item for me, but it can be if the sales are there. Same goes for other flavours of sea foam, if there is a demand, i'll bring it in. Just let my guys at the counter know your an OFC member and they will over ride the price. 10. Hey Guys Saw another post related to Seafoam. I can still offer this pricing if anyone is interested. I can have it shipped to any of our locations for easier pick up, if that helps. Currently our Guelph, Cambridge and Toronto locations have stock. Thanks again!

  11. I troll all the time with my 9.9 and use my garmin force electric to steer. With it I can set a course with the remote or I can follow a track that I made before on my garmin fishfinder, I can spend hours without having to steer the boat even while fighting a fish it is truly an autopilot

  12. I have hundreds and hundreds of hours of troll time on my ipilot. No detriment to the motor itself that I can see. I did burn out an ipilot head unit, but fortunately I had stockpiled an extra complete with remote when Canadian tire was clearing them out a few years back. Using heading lock to troll is the only way to go. It leaves you hands free to set lines, catch fish, do whatever. If you want to adjust course you can do so at the touch of a button. There’s no better way!
