  2. Other fish can be released and goby killed and stomach contents examined. If goby is why no laker eggs/fry then develop a trapping program. Matter of fact a good idea right now or post spawn to catch goby there and see what they're eating. ZERO excuse not too. Tagging was done but no shoal traps? What ever happened to developing new research for a new problem? Is MNR incapable of that? Maybe some university student could think through it and lead the way. (sarcasm intended).

  3. Doing the grill with the left overs tonight, placed on home made bread, cover with gravy and a side of fried sunny side up eggs with fries. Maybe the pack of mix I got of pork and beef was not good. I just did not like it. I can try again, I guess.

  4. i run one of these units myself. Nice little bonus on the networking capability of this one too. Really fantastic imaging at a budget price! These definitely double up as an ice fishing flasher. I personally own 2 helix 7's for this reason! A digital flasher/graph, with GPS capabilities...for that price! Also these units have a built in "ice fishing mode" that reduces battery consumption!

  9. Used to fish Dokis down the dam. For walleye worm harnesses produced best results. jigging with live bait is great as well but you have to find eyes in numbers. For bass - senkos or any swimbaits. You are correct - rocks are everywhere. Go with trolling motor or slow speed until you feel comfortable.
