Don't drill a dangerous number of holes of a dangerous size. To me, this argument is like saying "What am I to do with my garbage other than throw it on the ice? I didn't bring a bag to put it in". You should be properly prepared for whatever you're planning on doing on the ice.

It's stupid statement because your comparing intentional murder with someone forgetting to mark a hole in the ice.

If you've taken your 10" auger out and drilled the crap out of the ice surface, left it unmarked, and someone falls in, you probably should be on the hook.

I don't get the ones that feel the need to cut mickey mouse holes with 8-10" augers. I use only a single 6" hole and manage quite well. Right Terry ? 🤣

I don't suspect you will be admonished for leave 8-10 inch holes open unmarked. I believe the intent was more for those leaving gaping holes open a whole body could fall into. A cedar or pine bough would probably suffice if you plan on making large holes, easy enough to bring along.

It was the pre 2008 ficht 150hp and up. After market upgrade solved the issue.

I believe those were the Fict or Ficht motors? The were made until the early 2000’s, then BRP bought the company. The one that is on the boat I’m looking at is a BRP motor.

I think it was the oil injection on their V4 models back in the day.

The internet has become a barrage of attempted daily scams. I've had several credit cards compromised. I get daily emails that are waiting for me to slip up or click a link. One of my friends just got taken by a netflix scam. The internet seems like a dark alley that some ppl get lead into.

I never had a problem before either, maybe I was targeted because I hadn't had any activity for a while and they thought they could sneak out money before I noticed. Nothing is completely safe anymore. Even keeping cash, you can experience a good old fashioned mugging. At least back in the old days, crooks had to physically rob you (or get elected). Nowadays, these lazy ****ers can't even get off the couch to rob you. Even the thieves are going soft.
