  2. There's a lot of times the pan gasket is or looks reusable; but what the F%$* get a replacement. You're going through all this work and then taking a chance on a used used gasket? Hey look at this, the oil pressure is great; to bad it's now a butter ball turkey. Leaking enough oil to be self basting. Sorry. It's good to cut corners but only in the right places! Dan.

  3. Because many people these days will trash hunters like it’s the most blood thirsty, unethical thing you can do. Never mind the fact humans have been doing it for thousands of years. What gets me is when people who eat meat will trash hunters and say “oh, big man killing an innocent animal” Then they go to MacDonalds and buy some chicken nuggets like that makes them somehow morally superior. Or the idiot living in the city who knows nothing about bears thinks that they shouldn’t be hunted because they had a cute little teddy bear as a kid. Until one breaks into their cottage one night. A real hunter knows more and cares more about the animals they hunt than most so called animal animal activists.

One method many fisherman employ is to drink their beers fast enough they don’t freeze. But Smith said this method requires an extra step of preparation. “If you’re going to blast a case between you and your buds on the ice, you absolutely must have a bottle of Fireball on hand for the late afternoon,” he said. Smith said burst glass bottles are especially tragic. “You may be tempted to just eat the beer slush, but you will cut up your gums and lips on broken glass something fierce.”

  6. If I was dropping a pan I would have an oil pan gasket right there, it's a lot easier than searching for one later?

  10. I've had many dogs over my lifetime and every one has lived on people food and they all lived long and healthy lives. My last pooch lived till he was 18 years old and we used to take him for a check-up every year and when he was 16 the vet said she couldn't believe how healthy he still was at his age and asked what we fed him. I said he ate basically whatever we had for supper and she was horrified and said people food is the most unhealthy thing you can feed a dog. I said "you just told us you couldn't believe how healthy he was" and she sorta blushed and said "yeah I guess I did, didn't I " Ole Marv live for another 2 years on his unhealthy diet LOL

  11. A couple of perch pics to share. Never saw anything that fat from Simcoe last winter. 45 one day were typical of the set below. Over 5lbs of perch fillets, so many were 12-13". One guy showed us a 15" size perch, but never weighed it.
