Hi all, Daytime temps were above freezing yesterday(just) so headed down to the shore for a couple casts, actually did really good for walleye too but they didn't bite until practically dark and the camera doesn't do well in low light. Had 4 or five follows and landed two decent pike while casting...all good....but come on ICE! Before our 'warm up' on Saturday the river, where there is current, had a decent skim and we have double digit minus ℃ for the next week...not long now!

So true, great post. In my case much of this would have been in the 60's. The early 70's were high school days, no smart phones, no cameras, life was so different.
