Nov 15-17 booked at Merland Park and will work my tail off to put Quinte 'Gold' on my 13yr old grandsons rod, it'll be a first for him. My Daughter as well for that matter. Running boards with snap weights , others with dipsy's. M. Park cottages owner Kevin (and Jennifer) has been his usual priceless knowledge of all that swims the A.Reach, Narrows etc and were rigged to go. Ive a smaller boat now, sold the Princecraft some 10yrs back but the new Lund deep V handles well but hasnt experienced the Reach's sudden chop without much notice. We'll all be wearing flotation suits even picked up a 4/9K Mr Buddy heater for my daughter in hope of making this as pleasantly memorable as possible for them both. I hope to have a few pictures once back and will post Stay warm & Tight lines all

Next year I'm going back to the Nipigon area for 2 weeks. Looking forward to finally getting a few brook trout. The lakes so big that the launches I use will be nearly 3 hours apart. If too windy we but into Paint Lake and fish the Sturgeon River. Great area, great adventure and great fishing. But got to be very prepared driving on those rugged logging roads towing a boat. So lets hear about your fishing plans and expectations for 26.

Too old, bah, just got and rent a hut from an operator, backpack with lunch and beverages, that's what I plan on this winter.
